We now have a full line of procion fiber reactive dyes for cellulose fibers and Jacquard acid based dyes for protein fibers.

In addition, we carry the following fibers for dyeing: various kinds of wool, silk roving , sliver and caps, bamboo, Acala easy to spin cotton, Pima cotton, Egyptian Pima cotton and Sea Island Lint. If you prefer to work with yarns that are already spun, we have a selection of: Panda cotton, Panda wool, cotton chenille and a variety of wool yarns for dyeing.

Jacquard acid based dyes use white vinegar as a mordant. They are so easy to use and the colors are brilliant. I love working with these dyes, especially because you can dye using your microwave.

The hand dyed wool roving and silk hankies are wonderful for spinning or for use in felting.
