Next Steps Rigid Heddle Weaving Techniques

Now that you're able to warp your rigid heddle loom and weave a simple piece, you will learn some new techniques to create designs in your weaving projects. In this class you will be introduced to weaving with color as in a clasped weft weaving, and to using two to three pick-up sticks which will enable you to make intricate pick-up patterns and stitches. You must warp your loom with DK or worsted weight yarn in a solid color in advance to accommodate a piece 10"x 1.5-2 yards. You will need two colors of contrasting yarn that you can either buy here, or bring from your stash.
